*Maths - all levels to Year 9

SESSIONS

*Weekly sessions are available after school or on Saturday mornings.

*Younger students who are available during the day are welcome to attend in person during weekdays.

*Older students who are available during the day are welcome to attend in person or on-line during weekdays.

*Ad-hoc sessions can be booked for assistance with homework.

A note about academic integrity and grades

Please be aware that tutoring services are limited to the same type of support offered by classroom teachers:

Guidance, feedback, assistance in breaking down tasks, planning and help finding suitable references. 

Your child must produce their own work for assessment.

In most cases, having 1:1 support will help students achieve a higher grade than they would achieve otherwise.

(It's amazing how much a child can complete in an hour without distractions!)

However, having a tutor does not guarantee academic achievement if the student does not put in the work required. 

Having a tutor is not a way to buy good grades. Success lies with the student.

FEES

Weekly sessions: $45/hour or pro-rata for shorter sessions

Ad-hoc sessions: $50/hour

TUTOR/ACADEMIC COACH

Jane has over twenty years' experience working as a tutor. She is also a qualified teacher with a professional background in fields outside education. Jane has four children and understands the various pressures that families need to juggle, bringing a balanced and supportive perspective to the tutoring relationship.

Jane's qualifications:
*Bachelor of Laws (Honours)

*Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology)

*Cert IV in Project Management

*Graduate Diploma in Education (Distinction)

*Master of Education
